School Vision and Worship
At St Kenelm’s we provide a safe environment where all are recognised and valued as unique Children of God so that they are ready to face any challenge enabling them to flourish.
We seek to live out our Christian vision by following the story of Noah's Ark. Our school echoes the story of Noah's Ark in the corridors and around the environment. We have beautiful grounds which support our spirituality and love of God's creation.
At St Kenelm’s CE Primary School we aim to provide every pupil and member of our community with an experience of Christian life and worship.
We seek to underpin our teaching, learning and environment with our school values were chosen by all stakeholders and are Respect, Courage, Kindness, Fairness and Friendship.
We seek to celebrate our children’s individuality and provide them with a safe, supportive and happy place within which to thrive and develop with a deeper knowledge and understanding of God’s love for them.
Within the core values of St Kenelm’s Primary School we uphold and teach pupils about the British Values: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
Our values are taught through worship, RE and PSHCE lessons and are supported by opportunities for visits, visitors and whole school enrichment activities.
Recognition and Respect for all faiths
St Kenelm’s CE Primary School is a church school and we aim to provide our children with an experience of Christian life and worship.
Throughout the school, we are all aware, recognise and respect the faiths of all others. We believe that we should develop the spirituality of all children whether they are of Christian faith, other faiths or of no faith. This ensures that we can all respectfully understand the beliefs of each other and develop a mutual respect for everyone.
This is underpinned by our School Values.
