School to home communications...

Communicating with parents is an important part of what we do, making sure you get the correct information about activities, events and things that really matter is something we care about.

Further to our communication today, we will be implementing a new Parent Portal and Parent App through Arbor (Arbor is our Management Information System).   

Adopting Arbor will allow us to communicate with you more efficiently and bring all core school data and workflows into one system.

We are really looking forward to getting started with Arbor and invite all our parents to familiarise themselves using the link below - please do not attempt to download the App at this stage, this is purely to give you an insight into the functions Arbor has to offer…

We will send further communication on the Arbor Parent Portal and Parent App and how to register in due course, please look out for this information and register your child only when prompted.  Our intention is to perform a phased “roll-out” as not all functions will be available to begin with, this will of course be made clear to you.

We will soon be phasing out the use of ParentMail - we will keep you informed accordingly. 

 IRIS ParentMail...

Here at St Kenelm’s, we use ParentMail, a service to communicate to parents. ParentMail will be beneficial to you because:

• Messages will get to you reliably and on time;
• We can send messages directly to parents or other carers at the same time;
• Emergency or important information can be sent by text message;
• i-phone and Android Apps available for parents on the go.

 ParentMail - iOS App information

In order to do this, we are required to pass contact details to ParentMail securely. It is therefore vital that the contact details you give to St Kenelm’s at the start of the school year are correct.

We will not pass your details onto ParentMail without your consent - please refer to the letter and consent form below.  We would be most grateful if you would please print, sign and return the consent form to school in order to start the ParentMail process. Please be assured that ParentMail has updated its terms and conditions to ensure that it is compliant with the new General Data Protection Regulations.

ParentMail Letter & Consent Form

Once we receive consent from you, we will commence the ParentMail process for you.  You will then receive a registration invitation by text and email. You can decide which way you register – but you will only need to do this once…we really do encourage you to register to avoid missing any vital communications.
