As a class teacher, I love being creative and enthusiastic about learning. I love to work with the children and help them discover new information, watch them immerse themselves within the texts and see the development of their understanding.

There are lots of things that make me happy however, staying active, whether that be by dancing or just getting out in the local parks is something that is important to me. I am also very passionate about reading and can’t wait to hear about what books the children are enjoying!

Our Learning Support Assistants are Miss A Pearson and Miss V Simm:

"I love my job as every day is different! It is great to work alongside individual children and support their learning. I enjoy helping children achieve their full potential.

Each week, I take year 2 to Forest School and use my creative skills to plan fun and engaging topics. Outside of work, I am active in my local church, a Rainbow and Brownie leader and love spending time at the theatre watching musicals.

"Hi my name is Vicky Simm, and I am the Learning Support Assistant in year 1.  I started at St Kenelm's in September 2022.  I love working in year 1 and seeing the children grow and learn every day.

Outside of school I have 2 young daughters and I spend most of my free time with my family.  I enjoy cooking, walking our rescue dog and going to see live music whenever I get the chance."
