Hello, my name is Miss Smith and I am proud to be the Year 1 teacher.

Teaching Year 1 is an incredibly rewarding role. At this stage, the children are naturally curious and full of wonder, and it is a privilege to support them as they begin to develop key skills, grow in confidence, and discover a love for learning. I particularly enjoy helping them explore reading, writing, and problem-solving in creative and engaging ways.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time walking in the countryside and along the coast, catching up with friends and family, and relaxing with a good book.
